My dog Potter lets me, my wife Marlene and son Reid share a house with him in Holyoke MA. Growing up, school was a challenge for me. I had some “bigger fish to fry” as a kid, so school was just not that important. After graduating high school by the skin of my teeth, I entered the work force. In my early twenties, I met the woman who would become my wife and mother of my child (32 years later, she continues to astonish me with her unwavering support and love). Her encouragement led me to apply to college (which I never in a million years thought would be a thing!). I was accepted to a small school in northern VT named Sterling College. I still have the letter! “Due to your somewhat checkered academic history, we will accept you on a probationary basis.” Checkered! HA, more like a back field with some white spots. Anyway, I found that I excelled in college, and earned an AA in Natural Resource Management, which led to a BA in Environmental Science and ironically, an MA in elementary education (I know, I know, but if you stop and think, it makes a kind of sense.). Over my time here on Earth I have been a Naturalist, a Children’s Museum Director, a Behaviorist, and a Public School Teacher. The one through line connecting these varied career paths is story. Being an effective and entertaining communicator allowed me to be successful in all of my endeavors. Now, I am “skipping the middle man” so to speak, and tell stories professionally. I can tell your story, let’s chat. You can reach me at Stoneerik77@gmail.com. I am also on Fiverr, Voicebunny, ACX, Findawayvoices.com, and Voices.com.
